Directorate of Extension invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:
Post Name: Joint Director (Farm Information)
Essential Qualification:
holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department.
with five years regular service in the grade rendered afte-r appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band-3 (15600-39100) + 61269 Pay 5400/- (Level 10 in Pay Matrix recommended by 7th CPC)
with seven years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band-2 (9300-34800) + Grade Pay 4600/- (Level 7 in Pay Matrix recommended by 7th CPC); and
Masters degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized University or lnstitute;
Five years experience in Agricultural extension including farm communication.
Desirable:
Degree or diploma in Journalism or mass communication from a recognised University.
Experience of handling work relating to agricultural information, mass media, media extension literature, agriculture exhibitions, production of audio visual materials relating to topics on agriculture and agricultural films.
