Jeetu12345 Institute Fellowship will be provided to those students also who are not gate qualified - according to the official notification, GATE is mandatory only for Scholarships and there will different processes of getting admission.
According to the notification candidates with GATE/NET (JRF/LS)/ UGC (JRF/LS) /GPAT/ Inspire Fellow / Sponsored by
some outside agency as a full-time candidate need not clear Institute written examination. For all other candidates, Institute’s written examination is to be cleared. Candidates who are GATE-qualified are directly short-listed for “presentation and interview" and those who are not GATE qualified, first have to clear the written exam and then they will be short-listed for “presentation and interview".
The Pattern of Examination shall be as of GATE and NET examination. The Written Test will be of MCQ Mode.
Short-listing of an applicant does not confirm admission to the Ph.D. program. The admission shall be solely based upon the performance of individuals during “presentation and interview” and the availability of the Supervisor in the proposed area of research.
