Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence Navy invites applications for the following post via Deputation/Re-Employment:

Post Name: Technical Officer

Essential Qualification: 

  • Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Recognised Research Institutions or Universities or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations:-

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Level-10 in the pay matrix (56100-177500) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical and Communication or Marine or Naval Architecture or Industrial Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

  • The Armed Forces Personnel of the rank of Lieutenant Commander (IN) or equivalent due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite qualifications and experience prescribed for deputation (including short term contract) shall also be considered. Such persons would be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.


Essential Work Experience: Five years working experience in relevant field of engineering out of which at least one year experience in Dockyard or Shipyard in Production, Planning, Control and Refit of Ships or Vessels.
