Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Project Associate-I
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (MSc/M Tech) in Biological Sciences.
Desirable:
Experience in genomics-based data analysis, flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques. Post Post-graduate graduate degree in Bioinformatics/Computational biology is preferable.
Basic understanding in virology and molecular biology. Experience in molecular biology techniques, cell culture, PCR.
Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification: MSc in Molecular biology or related field with valid GATE/NET score. Experience with Mammalian cell culture-based assays, Molecular biology Techniques including Transfection, Western blotting, Immunocytochemistry, Advanced fluorescence microscopy and Quantification and d Lab animal handling.
Desirable: Interest and knowledge in Chemical biology. Preference will be given to candidates with prior Research experience.
Post Name: Project Associate-II
Essential Qualification: PhD with 2 years experience with high quality publication record in the area of synthetic organic chemistry or in the biochemistry (enzymology) molecular Biology with sound experience in cell culture, animal handling
handling, epigenetics, and neurosciences.
Desirable: Experience in CRISPR-Cas technology, organoid generation and experiments using primary cell lines is preferable.
