UPSC ALC - Exam Information

Introduction

UPSC ALC (Assistant Labour Commissioner) exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for the posts of Assistant Labour Commissioner, Assistant Welfare Commissioner, Assistant Labour Welfare Commissioner, Assistant Director, Ministry of Labour & Employment.

1. Eligibility criteria -

Applicants should complete a degree from a recognized University, the maximum age limit for the post is 35 years.
The upper age limit in case of Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers including SSCOs shall be relaxed by five years subject.

Essential Qualifications:- Diploma in social work or Labour Welfare or Industrial Relations or Personnel Management or Labour Law from a recognized University or Institution, MBA in Human Resource Management/ Human Resource Development.

Desirable Qualifications:- Degree in Law from a recognized University.

Questions in the UPSC ALC examination will come mainly from these topics-

  6. - Trade Union Act
  7. - Trade Union Movement

7. UPSC ALC Admit Card:

  1. The candidate has to check the correct link for admit card on https://upsconline.nic.in
  2. Enter your Application ID number, and Date of Birth.
  3. Click on the submit button & will get an admit card.

8. UPSC ALC Result:

  1. Candidates have to look on the official website of UPSC https://upsconline.nic.in to view their results.
  2. The result will be declared separately for each stage at the official website, Roll No. of qualified candidates will only display in the result.
