AISSEE - Exam Information

Introduction

AISSEE is (All India Sainik School Entrance Examination) conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). The NTA has been established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India an independent/autonomous, self-sustained testing organization. NTA will be conducting the AISSEE 2022 for admission to Class 6th and Class 9th in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2022-23.
Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools associated with CBSE. They get ready cadets to go to the National Defense Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and other Training Academies, for Officers. There are currently 33 Sainik Schools with a capacity of 3,000 students. About 30% of the troops in the three forces are students of military schools.

1. Eligibility criteria -

  • For Class 6th Admission: The candidates should be between 10 and 12 years as of 31.03.2022. Admission for girls is also open.

  • For Class 9th Admission: The candidates should be between 13 and 15 years as of 31.03.2022. They should have completed class 8th from a recognized school at the time of admission.

4. AISSEE Exam Syllabus and Pattern:

The mode of exam for Class 6th & Class 9th will be offline mode(OMR sheets based) and the paper pattern will be Multiple Choice Questions. The total duration of the exam will be 180 minutes. The question paper will be available in 13 languages- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

5. How to apply for the AISSEE Exam?

  • Students first visit the official website at https://aissee.nta.nic.in
  • Click the given link for registration.
  • Fill in all the necessary information over there.
  • Your ID and password will be generated and will be sent on your registered mobile number and email ID also.
  • Login using the same ID and password and proceed to fill the registration form.
  • Upload the photograph of the candidate.
  • Pay the application fee online via digital payment options and submit your form.
  • You will receive an email and message on your mobile number regarding the confirmation of the form.

6. AISSEE Admit Card:

  • Candidates have to look on the official website of AISSEE - 2021 https://aissee.nta.nic.in.
  • Tap on the link, “Download Admit Card- AISSEE 2021.”
  • You will get a new page where you will have to fill in your application number, date of birth.
  • After filling the pin, click on the submit button.
  • Your AISSEE 2021 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
