Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Assistant Professor
Desirable Qualification:
PhD Degree in relevant/concerned subject as per the post advertised from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. OR
Masters degree in relevant discipline from an accredited Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university along with National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR)/University Grants Commission (UGC)/Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) like State Level Eligibility Test (SLET)/State Eligibility Test (SET).
National Eligibility Test (NET) / State Level Eligibility Test (SLET)/ State Eligibility Test (SET) shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SET is not conducted. However, PhD degree shall remain the minimum eligibility for appointment of Assistant Professor in such disciplines.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate with relevant work experience as per the nature of post will be given preference.
