ICMR National Institute of Occupational Health invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following post :

Post Name : Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Toxicology/Life Science/Biotechnology from UGC recognized university and Qualify any one National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), GATE, GPAT, National level examination conducted by Central Govt. Dept. and their agencies such as DBT, SLET, DOS, DAE, DST, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc

Desirable :

1. Able to perform

i. Analytical techniques such as ICP-MS, LC-MS, XRD, etc.

ii. Biochemical techniques such as ELISA, UV/Vis Spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and various automated biochemical analysis platforms

iii. PBMC culture, Fluorescent microscopy, FESEM, Confocal microscopy, AFM and flowcytometry

iv. Molecular biology techniques such as protein and nucleic acid isolation, purification, co-immunoprecipitation, Western blot, PCR and immunofluorescence

v. Systematic review/data aggregation from various scholarly databases

2. Knowledge, or any prior experience of or able to perform

i. Omics, Bioinformatics, GIS

ii. Biostatistics, data entry, data analysis

iii. Data representation for report and publication

iv. MS-Word, Power-point, Excel and suitable analysis platform such as SPSS/Prism/Origin, etc.

3. Proficiency in English language
