Essential Qualification: Officers holding the post of Stenographer under the Central Government:-
Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre /Department or
With ten years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in pay band-1, 5200-20200/- plus grade pay of 2400/- (Level-4 of Pay Matrix as per 7 CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre / Department
