CSIR Central Leather Research Institute invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:
Post Name: Field Worker
Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute.
Desirable: Candidate having the following qualifications / experience / skills will be given preference:
Previous work experience in survey-related activities
Should be well versed in English, Hindi and Manipuri (Speak, read, and write)
Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification:
- MSc in General Chemistry/Organic Chemistry / Biochemistry from a recognized University/ Institute and selected through a process described through any one of the following:
(i) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test - CSIR UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
(ii) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MOE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. or
- ME/M Tech in Leather Technology/Textile Technology/Engineering from a Chemical recognized University/ Institute and candidates and selected through a process described through any one of the following:
(i) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test - CSIR UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
(ii) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MOE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
Desirable: Candidate having the following qualifications / experience / skills will be given preference:
First class or equivalent in MSc/ME / M Tech will be given Preference.
Good academic record with research experience.
Expertise in all aspects of purification and characterization.
Good analytical skills and knowledge of plant material extraction and characterization techniques.
