Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:
Post Name: Technical Associate
Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Computer Sciences/applications with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university or equivalent
Desirable:
A minimum 03 years of experience in academics/industry
Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting, programming
Knowledge in handling model outputs which are in NetCdf/GRIB/GRIB2 formats
Knowledge in graphical plotting using GrADS/NCL Experience in development of parallel code using high level languages and/or in Python would be added advantage
Post Name: Associate Engineer
Essential Qualification:
A Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Appli cation / Information Technology / Science Communication / Communication Studies from a recognized University or equivalent And 2 years of Experience OR
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized University or equivalent And 2 years of Experience OR
A Bachelors degree in Computer Application/Computer Science from a recognized University or equivalent And 3 years of Experience
Essential Work Experience: Experience in PHP web application development, designing, testing and security implementation, Video Editing, YouTube channel management, creation of social media posts, and flyers/ brochure preparation
Desirable:
Work experience in Photoshop, CorelDraw, video optimization, develop, design and maintenance of institutional Repository, PHP, HTML, CSS, JQuery, MySQL, MVC Pattern and any framework Laravel/ CodeIgniter
Fluency in Marathi language (R/W)
