National Institute of Urban Affairs invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name:Team Leader
Essential Qualification: A minimum qualification of Post Graduate degree in Urban Planning/Social Science/Development Studies, or a related discipline.
Essential Work Experience:
At least 15 years of experience in program management, policy formulation, design, conduct, planning, and management in the area of urban development/ livelihoods/poverty alleviation/micro enterprise development, particularly, related to projects funded by the Government of India, State Governments, and multilateral agencies.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
Leadership capability to manage a team of 10-15 personnel and also work independently and under pressure.
Proven track record of:
Working with State/ Central government programs of similar nature and size.
Implementing livelihoods/ poverty alleviation program/or any other social sector program at scale.
Closely working with poor communities.
