Government Rehabilitation Institute For Intellectual Disabilities invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/ Promotion:
Post Name: Principal
Essential Qualification:
Officer under Central Government/State Government/ Union Territory Administrations / Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities/ Recognised Research Institutions/ Semi Government or Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory Organizations:
(a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; Or
(ii) With 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in PB-2, 9300-34800 with grade pay of 5400 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; Or
(iii) With 6 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in PB, 10300-34800/PB-2, 9300-34800 with grade pay of 4800 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
(i) Masters degree from a recognized university; and
(ii) M.Ed. in special education (Mental Retardation) from a Recognized Institution / University by RCI; and
(iii) Five years experience in the field of mental retardation from an RCI Recognized Institution.
Desirable: Ph.D. M.Phil in relevant field/subject.
