Post Name: Senior Project Associate
Essential Qualification:
First Class (60%) in MSc in Atmospheric Sciences/Meterology/ Physics/Mathematics or equivalent from a recognized university with minimum of four-year experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and the field of Atmospheric sciences,(OR)
First Class (60% in M Tech in Atmospheric Sciences or equivalent from a recognized University with two-year experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and the field of Atmospheric sciences. (OR)
PhD in Science with specialization in Atmospheric science from or equivalent from a recognized University.
Desirable: Working knowledge in data assimilation in weather prediction models like WRF, GCM etc. Working knowledge of FORTRAN/C/C++/R etc. Working knowledge in visualization softwares like GrADS, NCL, GMT etc.
Post Name: Project Associate-I
Essential Qualification:
First Class in masters Degree in Applied Geophysics/Geophysics-Applied Geology/Geology or equivalent from a recognized University.
First Class in BE/B Tech in Computer Science or ECE/MCA/MSc in Agricultural Statistics or equivalent from a recognized University.
Desirable:
Working experience in seismology (Earthquake locations, Lithospheric Modelling, Tomography, Crustal Structure, Inverse Modelling, Seismotectonics) etc.
Working experience in Linux, Python Programming, R Programming etc.
