Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment :
Post Name : Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification : Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. (Tech)/ M.Sc. or equivalent) in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Geology/Physics or related fields from a recognized university/Institute with a valid score in GATE/CSIR-NET. Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks (or 6.5 Grade Point out of 10) (55% / 6 CGPA for SC/ST) in their masters.
Desirable :
(1) Candidate with working knowledge in the field of seismicity, attenuation characteristics, velocity tomography, modelling and inversion, etc.
(2) Knowledge of Python/MATLAB/Fortran or any other programming language
