Cochin University of Science and Technology invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Assistant Professor (Economics)
Essential Qualification:
MA/M.Sc in Economics/ Econometrics/ Applied Economics/ Financial Economics with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC or who are or have been awarded a PhD Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 (the essential qualifications shall be in compliance with the UGC Regulations 2018).
Desirable:
PhD in Economics.
Proficiency in Statistical Software such as R, Python.

Essential Qualification:
M.Com Finance with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC or who are or have been awarded a PhD Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 (the essential qualifications shall be in compliance with the UGC Regulations 2018).
Desirable:
PhD in the relevant field.
Financial Analytics.
Proficiency in Statistical Software such as R, Python.
