Indian Institute of Technology Jammu invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification:
1. M.Tech. / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering/ Materials Engineering/ Applied Mechanics/ Aerospace Engineering and related streams and B.Tech/ B.E. with minimum 60% marks (or 6.5/ 10.0 CGPA). Valid GATE score is preferable.
2. B.Tech. /B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Materials Engineering/ Applied Mechanics/ Aerospace Engineering and related streams with a minimum 60% mark (or 6.5/ 10.0 CGPA) throughout starting from Class XII, valid GATE score is preferable /Post Graduation degree in basic science.
3. A sound knowledge of programming languages like C/C++, Python, MATLAB
4. Experience in working on Finite Element software e.g. ABAQUS, Ansys etc.
