Banaras Hindu University invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment :
Post Name : Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification : The Candidate should hold M.Sc. in Zoology/Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Biotechnology or related area with atleast 55% marks, must have qualified NET/GATE. The candidate with experience in the relevant area will be preferred.
Desirable : Under the project we will study the role of chromatin modifying enzymes in Head and Neck Cancer using experimental as well as computational approaches. Thus, the candidate with basic knowledge of mammalian cell culture, chromatin biology and knowledge of analysis tools such as R software will be given preference. Further, the candidate with prior experience in epigenetics will be given preference.
