National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in Master of Technology, Bachelor of Technology and Diploma programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -
Master of Technology in Electronics Design Technology
Essential Qualification:
Full Time: Minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in their B.E/B. Tech degree in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunication/Instrumentation engineering from a recognized university. GATE qualified candidates preferred.
Part Time: Eligibility Serving in Academic Institution/Industry R&D organization for at least two years after completion of B.E/B. Tech degree. The candidate should be sponsored by the employer.
Bachelor of Technology in Electronics System Engineering (Lateral Entry)
Essential Qualification:
(i) Electronics and allied stream Diploma (3 year) holders with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible for Lateral Entry (Direct 2nd Year) in B. Tech.
(ii) B. Tech First Year Admission through CSAB 2020
Diploma in Electronics Production and Maintenance
Essential Qualification:
(i) 10th standard certificate (SSC) Examination passed from a recognized Board with a minimum average score of 35% in Maths and Science subjects.
(ii) Lateral Entry for ITI or 12th passed (PCM) on the basis of written exam.
