Essential Qualification:
- Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS-2021) (To be held on March 7, 2021)
- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2020/GATE-2021), only for selected subjects.
- Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST-2021)
- Joint Research Fellowship (JRF) examination in selected subjects conducted by CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR
- UGC-NET Lectureship qualified on/after Dec. 2018

Essential Qualification:
- Candidates need to take Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS-2021) (To be held on March 7, 2021) examination.
- Candidates who joint the M.Sc. programme will have option to continue in the Ph.D programme for admission upon fulfilling the required criteria.
