MARITAL STATUS : Male candidates who are married and have more than one wife living and female candidates who have married a person already having a wife shall not be eligible unless the Hon. Governor has granted an exemption from this condition.

7. Exam Pattern :
The syllabus for the prelims examination is as follows:
This exam is a three stage process. which includes -prelims examinations, main examination, and personal interview. The exam pattern and syllabus for the UPPSC RO / ARO exam for all the stages are mentioned in the official notification. The Exam Pattern is as follows:
Prelims Exam Pattern:
The preliminary examination is the first stage for the selection in UPPSC RO / ARO Recruitment 2021. The silent aspects of the pattern are as given below:
1. There are two papers.
2. The duration for the first exam is 120 minutes, while for the second paper is 60 minutes.
3. The nature of questions is objective type.
