Application Process
New Registration
Visit the website https://dsssbonline.nic.in/ and click “New Registration”.
Read the instructions carefully and fill the form. For documents candidates need to have their Xth class Roll No. to fill the registration form and Aadhar Number ready for identification proof.
Candidates should note down the registration number and password before the next step.
Application Form
After the registration process, login with the credentials to fill the Application form.
After login, click ‘Apply’ and fill the form.
Uploading the photo, signature, left and right thumb impressions will be the next step to be followed. It requires a set dimension and size for documents which are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria for the posts are specified below:
ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT

Physical Standard (Essential) | DETAILS |
Male | Chest:- 32” (Girth) Height:- 5’6” (For Gorkhas & Dogras: 5’ 4) |

Physical Endurance Test (Essential) | DETAILS |
Male | 1600 meters race in 06 minutes and 30 seconds. |
| Note:- Those who qualify in the race shall be further eligible to appear in the following test:- |
| (i) High Jump:- 3’6’’ (to be achieved in any one of the three chances that will be given). |
| (ii) Broad/Long Jump:- 13.0 feet (to be achieved in any one of the three chances that will be given). |
Female | 800 meters race in 04 minutes and 30 seconds. |
| Note:- Those who qualify in the race shall be further eligible to appear in the following test: |
| (i) High Jump:- 3.0 feet (to be achieved in any one of the three chances that will be given). |
| (ii) Broad/Long Jump:- 9.0 feet (to be achieved in any one of the three chances that will be given). |
| Note:- There would be no appeal against the PET. During PET, a check will also be made for any defect or deformity (including bow-legged, knock-knees, flat-feet etc.) which would render candidates ineligible for recruitment. |
MATRON

| Chest:- Normal 81-85 Cms (relaxable by 5 Cms for candidates belonging to Gorkhas/Garhwalis/Dogras and Scheduled Tribes) and expandable by 5 Cms. |
| Sound state of health, free from defect/deformity/disease, vision 6/6 without glass both eyes, free from colorblindness. |
Physical Endurance Test (Essential) | DETAILS |
| 1600 meters race in 06 minutes. |
