Introduction
The EPFO Recruitment Test is conducted by UPSC for the posts of Enforcement Officer/Account Officer in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization. The following details are updated as per the last notification released i.e. 2020 and circulars issued till June 2021.

How to Apply
- Candidates are required to apply Online at www.upsconline.nic.in with a two-step registration process.
- If multiple applications are submitted by mistake, candidates must ensure that the application with higher Registration ID is complete in all respects like applicants details, examination centre, photograph, signature, fee, etc.
- Candidates must be ready with a scanned photograph(max 300 KB size) and signature(max.20 KB size), anyone photo ID issued by Central or State Government before moving to Part II of the registration.
Note
All candidates, whether already in Government Service, in Government owned industrial undertakings or other similar organization or in private employment should submit their applications direct to the Commission. Persons already in Government service, whether in permanent or temporary capacity or as work charged employees other than casual or daily rated employees or those serving under the Public Enterprises are, however, required to inform in writing their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for the Examination

Eligibility Criteria :
(I) Nationality
A candidate must be either :—
a citizen of India; or
a subject of Nepal; or
a subject of Bhutan; or
a Tibetan refugee*

Note: Person claiming relaxation under J&K domicile would be required to produce a certificate from the District Magistrate who has jurisdiction of the place. This relaxation shall remain in force upto 31.12.2019.
Scheme of EPFO Exam, 2020.
UPSC EPFO 2021 Stage-I exam is an offline mode exam where candidates have to mark the answers to MCQ-type questions in the OMR sheet.
EPFO Recruitment Test (RT) and Interview carries weightage in the ratio of 75:25 (for 2020). The candidates are shortlisted based on Recruitment Test (RT) and qualification in the interview. There is a category-wise minimum level of suitability required in interview (basis of marks) as per the table below-

Marking Scheme
Recruitment Test - It will be an offline exam (Pen & Paper Based) of 300 marks and will consist of 120 questions of 2.5 marks each with Negative Marking of .33

Important Information and Instructions
The date for determining the eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the closing date of Application
The period of experience rendered by a candidate on a part-time basis, daily wages, visiting/ guest faculty will not be counted while calculating the valid experience for shortlisting the candidates for interview.
Government Employees have to submit a declaration that they have informed in writing to their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for the selection.

Job Profile/Nature of Work:
To look after the work of Enforcement, Recovery, Accounts, Administration Cash, Legal, Pension and Computer which includes the statutory and administrative functions like conducting inquiry settlement of claims.
General administration; maintenance of Cash Book/ administration; maintenance of Cash Book/Reconciliation of Bank Statements.
Other basic responsibilities include attending prosecution cases, conducting surveys, etc.
Salary and Other Benefits
The Payscale of EPFO Officer is at Level 8 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. The salary range of an Enforcement Officer will be in the range of INR 43,600/- to 55,200/-. EPFO EO (Enforcement Officer) and AO (Account Officer) are permitted to have several other benefits such as
