There are two ways to join BARC

1.BARC online exam
2.Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)

Joining BARC after the Masters in Physics is a two-step process.
First, every year BARC conducts an online exam once you qualify that you are called for an interview. Second, through the GATE exam, one needs to get a very good rank because of the limited seats.

If you get shortlisted then the first step is done.Again, the final round is the interview.
Once you are shortlisted, your GATE grades are no longer relevant and selection is entirely dependent on performance during the interview.
