This MBA specialisation has become immense popular in the past few years. Healthcare management basically involves management of clinic, hospital and other healthcare facilities, so a healthcare manager’s work mainly includes being in charge of smooth functioning of the facility, taking care of day-to-day operations, the budget, goals of the facility’s practitioners and the needs of the community.
Eligibility
Students wanting to pursue MBA in Healthcare Management is graduation or equivalent from a recognized university with the minimum aggregate requirement of 50%.
Many colleges prefer students who have degree in BSc, MBBS, BPT, BPharm, BE/Btech, BDS, etc.
Clearing an entrance exam such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, SNAP, etc. is also an important eligibility criterion for the admission to MBA in Healthcare Management.
Many institutes admit students through written exam which is followed by a series of Group Discussion and Personal Interview Round.
