Now the question is, should we have to remember a dictionary?
The answer is simply ‘NO’.
Then what to remember and what to leave?
See, SSC and Banks ask very common vocabs either in the latest trend or from Newspapers. Another thing is that most of the vocabs asked in an exam are from previous year exams.
So the best trick to collect/remember exam-oriented vocabs is from the past year’s paper.
How to remember Vocabs?
The simple answer is ‘REVISION’. Only Vocabs from the previous year are more than 2000. So one can not just read it once and recall every word in the exam.
So, Rather than remembering the whole words at once, start remembering 10 or 20 daily. Make note of every word that you remember, add new words daily and make a quick revision of the collected words every day. Repeat the words, Revise the words and Recall the words.
In less than a week or more you will notice that you have remembered a lot of words.
For more command over words, keep practicing through mocks.
