ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has announced a recruitment notification to hire candidates for the post of Technician. To become a technician at IARI the candidates will have to undergo an online Computer-based Test. There is a well defined ICAR syllabus as well as IARI Exam Pattern for the CBT.
Age Limit
Candidates applying for the Technician posts must note that the maximum age limit is 30 years whereas the minimum age limit is 18 years.
Pay Scale
Candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs 21700 (Basic) along with the allowances Level 3 Index 1 (7th CPC).

ICAR IARI Technician Exam Pattern
ICAR IARI technician exam pattern comprises four subjects that include General Knowledge, Mathematics, Science and Social Science.
The examination will be of 100 marks consisting of Objective Type – Multiple Choice Questions and the duration will be of one and half hours. There will be four subjects carrying 25 marks for each of the following subjects as per the following scheme:
1 point is to be awarded for each correct answer.
For every wrong answer, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
For every wrong answer, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
The CBT will be configured in bilingual (both English and Hindi) for all sections.
