The selection process for the post of ASRB Administrative Officer has three stages i.e. Tier I, Tier II, and the Interview Round.
The Tier I exam is conducted for 200 marks each question carrying one mark each. The Tier II exam will be conducted for 600 marks for a duration of 12 hours. The details regarding the negative marking in the examination is not yet released on the official website.
Candidates who score equal to or more than the ASRB AO Cut Off marks in the Tier I and Tier II will be called for the Interview Round.
The final selection of candidates for the post of ASRB Administrative Officer will be based on the candidate’s performance in all the three stages of the selection process.

Tier I

ASRB AO Salary and Job Profile
The ASRB AO Recruitment 2021 salary for the post of Administrative Officer (AO) is in accordance with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) guidelines.
The selected candidates will be entitled to receive ASRB AO salary at Pay Level 10 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix [Pre-revised PB-3 ₹ 15600-39100 + ₹ 5400 (Grade Pay)] at ICAR.
The candidates who get selected as Administrative Officer must undergo training which is for a certain period of time, and they must also furnish a bond for a certain period of time after the training.
In case the candidates are caught in any misconduct while performing their employment duties, they will be dismissed by the board through the issuance of a notice.
If it is found that the candidate has provided any incorrect information during the application or does not fulfil the ASRB AO Eligibility Criteria, their selection will be cancelled immediately.
