As we know, a science graduate always has some sort of advantages. There are several fields where a science graduate is considered as a technical personnel somehow and so, finds eligibility wherever a science graduate is required. In those areas, non-science graduates ie; Arts, Commerce or Other professional degree holders can not compete. So, after graduating in science, graduates can get preferences in technical types of employment.
Though, on the other hand, non-science graduates have some other types of advantages of their own kind.
In case of PCM Science Graduates, technical types of employment in Central Govt., State Govt. or PSUs and other grant-in organizations like, JE, Scientific Assistant, Jr. Research Fellow and all those job profiles which don’t require a BE, B.Tech. ME, M.Tech or any other engineering degree but only a engineering diploma or some technical certification equivalent to a B.Sc. in science, a science graduate can compete and get opportunities alternatively.
In the case of Medical Science Graduates, they always have advantages of employment where other graduates can not compete as a non-medical graduate is supposed as not studied or not having biological knowledge.
Apart from those mentioned above, a science graduate can also get employment and seek admission over there wherever they can apply for on the basis of their 10+2 result until their maximum age limit is reached.
Beside the above mentioned, a plethora of opportunities are available for Science Graduates. like;
For employment under Govt. of India like; UPSC (CSE, CDS, IES, ISS, IFS, CAPF, PF Commissioner, etc), Indian Army, Indian Navy, IAF, RBI, NABARD, ECGC bank, SSC CGL, CTET, Railways, and other central government owned or aided enterprises and undertakings, etc.
For employment in Judiciary Services like; Judges, and other subordinate officers and supporting staff members, etc.
For employment under the State Govt. Services through State PCS like; HPSC, HPPSC, UPPSC - (Lower Subordinate & Upper Subordinate), Delhi SSSB, BPSC, PPSC, JPSC, MPSC,
State TET, Regional Rural Banks and other state government owned or aided enterprises and undertakings, etc.
For employment in different PSUs like; SBI, IBPS, TET, GIC, LIC, IBPS, etc.
For higher studies and professional courses like; GMAT, CAT, MAT, GRE, NEET (MD, MS), GATE, IIT JAM, CLAT, CSIR NET, and several other exams for Engineering, Medical, Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, MBA, Law, PHD, etc.
Even in the private sector jobs, in technical as well as non-technical fields, a science graduate possessing a higher degree can get employment opportunities and growth as well.
