Vidyanjali is a Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralay) initiative that provides students with non-educational practises (through volunteers). This effort would connect students with a diverse group of volunteers from the Indian diaspora (but not limited to) retired teachers, retired government officials, retired professional women, and so on. Apart from allowing mentors to interact directly with institutions and impart relevant knowledge and skill sets, the Vidyanjali platform also allows volunteers/citizens/alumni to contribute services to schools and their management through various categories of contribution, such as ICT, Construction, and school facilities such as furniture and amenities.
