Super TET Exam
Super TET is generally known as Super Teacher Eligibility Test is one of the eminent exams conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) to recruit deserving and eligible candidates for the teaching profession at primary and secondary stages in government schools.
Super TET Exam is basically conducted to gauge the intelligence of candidates who want to make their career in the teaching profession so that the quality of teaching can be improved by selecting only the best and deserving candidates.
Super TET Eligibility Criteria
candidates who want to teach in the primary (Class 1 to 5) and secondary schools (Class 6 to 8) of the government schools of Uttar Pradesh.
Super TET eligibility criteria is different for Paper I and Paper II.
Primary Teachers (Class 1st to 5th)
Candidates should have passed UP TET/ CTET of Primary level.
You must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and passed 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
You must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and possess 4 years’ Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) Degree
OR
You must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and have also passed in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR
You must have a Graduation Degree and passed a 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
You must have a Graduation Degree and Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) Degree
Secondary Teachers (Class 6th to 8th)
Candidates should have passed UP TET/ CTET of Upper primary level.
You must have held a bachelor’s degree and BTC from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
or
You must have held a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education from Rehabilitation Council Of India (RCI).
or
You must have completed Intermediate with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.A/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed from N.C.T.E and UGC with the recognized institute.
or
You must have completed Intermediate with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.El.Ed in Primary Education.
or
You must have held a bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed degree.
AGE Criteria
For UP assistant teacher age should be between 21 to 40 years and age relaxation for OBC/SC/ST/ is 5 years and for PWD candidates is 15 Years.
