The alarming increase in stress of school students and it’s effects in recent past has left no time but to think and formulate the solution to de-stress the students in due time. For it, the CBSE, other concerned authorities as well as the Government have started thinking of the solution of the student’s stress in due time so that the innocent students can be protected from any mental illness further.
To study and formulate the solution, the CBSE has constituted a committee for ‘early detection of mental stress or illness’ among the school children. The committee has been assigned to develop the content for teachers on ‘early detection of mental stress or illness among the school children.
Manodarpan Cell from NCERT has been asked to provide all necessary administrative and secretarial support to the committee to finis the report on time.
The committee has been constituted on Nov 11, 2021. There are 11 members in total in the committee.
Dr. Jitender Nagpal has been appointed as the chairman of the committee who is also a member of ‘working group on Manodarpan’.
The committee has been asked to submit it’s report within 3 months.
