UGC Offered SWAYAM Course For Young Aspiring minds
SWAYAM courses for the January 2022 semester have been issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC). “The UGC SWAYAM Regulations, 2021, now allow an institution to allow up to 40% of all courses offered in a specific programme in a semester to be delivered through SWAYAM,” the UGC tweeted today.
SWAYAM, or Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds, is a platform for massive open online courses (MOOCs) developed by the government. Its goal is to ensure that every student in the country has affordable access to high-quality higher education.
The list of programs available for the January 2022 semester may be seen at(https://ugc.ac.in )and on the SWAYAM portal (https://swayam.gov.in). The UGC provides courses such as application development, animations, animal biotechnology, artificial intelligence: constraint fulfilment, academic writing, and access to justice through SWAYAM.
Learners can take SWAYAM courses for free, but if they want a SWAYAM certificate, they must register for the final proctored tests, which cost money, and attend in-person at designated centres on specific days. The certificate’s eligibility will be mentioned on the course website, and learners will only get certificates if this condition is met.
