Xavier Aptitude Test(XAT)
Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is conducted by XLRI to get the most appropriate candidates for management. The result will be available as a scorecard in online mode on the official website - xatonline.in. Candidates can check their XAT exam results using their login credentials such as XAT application number and password.
Registration procedure
Register for XAT and XLRI at www.xatonline. in. Candidates can also apply for XAT Associate Institutes using XAT scores for admission to their programmes.
Go to Visit www.xatonline.in and click on “Register “ enter Name, Email Id, contact details, and set a password.
A candidate must verify his email by clicking on the link and proceed to complete the application procedure.
In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, the candidate can save the data already entered by choosing the “SAVE AND EXIT “ tab. Prior to submission of the online application, candidates are advised to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify the details to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.
The name of the candidate or his /her Father’s name/ Mother’s name etc. should be spelled correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
Candidates can proceed to fill Academic and Work experience details of the Application Form.
Candidates have to fill in the work experience and proceed to choose programme details.
The candidate is supposed to upload Photo, signature, 10th, 12th, graduation & work experience details.
Click on declaration and verify the details thoroughly before submitting the application form.
Applicant details cannot be edited once the application form is submitted after payment.
Select the XLRI programme as per your preference if you want to study in XLRI. (Through XAT or Through GMAT).
Click on the “Payment” Tab after filling the application form.
Click on the “Submit” button to submit your application.
Payment of Fees
XAT Registration Fee (without late fee) – Rs. 1750/- Candidates interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 300/- each. XAT Registration Fee (with late fee) – Rs 2050/- Candidates interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 500/- each. Indian Candidates applying for GMP through GMAT– Rs. 2500/- NRI/Foreign Candidates applying for one or more programmes through GMAT– Rs. 5000/-
Syllabus
XAT 2022 exam date is January 2, 2022. XAT exam has four sections and as such the Xavier Aptitude Test - XAT Syllabus 2022 is also divided into the following 4 sections
i) Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension;
ii) Decision Making,
iii) Quantitative Aptitude
iv) General Awareness.
Except for the General Awareness, all the other three sections are core sections that determine the XAT percentile score as well as XLRI shortlisting criteria. The score of the General Awareness section is taken into account at the time of the personal Interview round.
