About CLAT

CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. This is a national level entrance exam for admissions to twenty two National Law Universities (NLU) in India. Some private universities also consider the score of this examination. CLAT is conducted for the admission in both the graduate and post graduate programmes like LLB, LLM, and Five Year Integrated programme. The Consortium of NLUs is responsible for this examination.

  1. Registration- First of all candidates have to registered themselves by entering their Name, Mobile Number, and email ID.
  2. create a new Password.
  3. Login- Log in to access the application form.
  4. Select the Course- Select desired course of study.
  5. Fill the form- Fill other detailed information in application form like personal information, communication details, qualifying examination status, exam center preferences (THREE centers can be selected in the order of preference), and reservation.
  6. Submit the form- After fill all the details in application form, agree to the declaration, give your consent and submit the form.
  7. Pay the appropriate application fee- This is the last step, in which you need to pay the application fee (which is category-specific) in online mode using credit or debit cards, or net banking.
