CBSE to organize Science challenge for students of class 8 to 10
What is a Science challenge?
The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has announced a new Science challenge for the students of classes 8 to 10. This challenge is conducted by the board as an initiative to develop higher-order thinking and curiosity among the students in the modern world where technology is an important factor to understand the world.
The CBSE Science challenge will be available on the DIKSHA platform from Jan. 17 to Feb. 18,2022. The challenge is without a participation fee and will be available in both Hindi and English language.
How to avail?
Schools that are affiliated with CBSE have to register their students at cbse.gov.in. After getting registered they will receive reg. IDs that will be used by the students to access the challenge on the platform. Students whose schools are not affiliated with CBSE can avail the challenge on the platform directly.
Why to avail?
Students who will complete the challenge will be provided a participation certificate. Then schools can nominate their five students from each class with participation certificates directly to the second stage or for national qualifiers of the Raman Young Science Innovator Award.
