Correction in CBSE mark sheet
When there is a spelling problem in our parents’ names on our class 10th or class 12th mark sheet, it is always a source of concern. In such situations, students are prone to panic. Some people recommend getting an affidavit and others recommend going to the CBSE office, but it’s a never-ending procedure. It is, however, not unsolvable.
Correction of a candidate’s name/surname, father’s name/surname, and mother’s name/surname includes correcting spelling mistakes, factual inaccuracies, and a typographical error in the candidate’s name/surname, father’s name/surname, and mother’s name/surname to match what is on the school record.
Follow the instructions to correct the name in the marks sheet of class 10 and 12th-
Only within one year after the date of the declaration of the result will an application for name correction in the candidate’s/father’s/mother’s/name guardian’s be considered, provided that the candidate’s application is sent by the Head of Institution with the following attested documents:
1- A true copy of the admission form(s) filled out by the parents at the time of admission, officially attested by the institution’s head.
2- A true copy of the candidate’s prior school’s school leaving certificate, as presented by the candidate’s parents at the time of admission and officially confirmed by the Head of the concerned institution.
3- A true copy of the section of the page of the admission and withdrawal record of the school where the candidate’s entry was made, suitably signed.
