CBSE has taken initiative for the purpose of Verification of online applications of Single Girl Child Scholarship by the CBSE affiliated Schools. The CBSE Provide the Single Girl Child Scholarship to the Single Girl Child who successfully passed out class 10 from the School affiliated with CBSE. To make it more easy, CBSE has dedicatedly launched a portal.
Eligibility:
The Board has provisioned a scholarship for Single Girl Child pursuing her education at class 11 and 12 in CBSE affiliated schools who have passed class 10 from the CBSE affiliated School.
The girl students who are the only child in her family and has secured 60% or more marks in class 10.
Monthly tuition fee should not exceed Rs.1,500/- pm in Class 10 and 10% enhancement for Class 11 & 12.
The Scholarship can be renewed for next one year.
The scholarship shall be awarded to Indian Nationals only.
NRI applicants of the Board are also eligible for the Scholarship in the form of tuition fee maximum upto Rs.6,000/- per month.
