Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas samiti (NVS) also known as JNV, a central schools facilitates students specially from rural India. It is managed by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, New Delhi.
It is an autonomous institution working under the Deptt. of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India. It is a completely residential and co-ed school.It is affiliated with (CBSE) New Delhi.
It runs classes from 6 to 12 standard.
JNVs provides rural students best possible education ie; best residential school system irrespective of family background or any socio-economic condition.
All the expenses born in JNV is funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Students or their parents are not charged against their free education and stay during their education period.
On the occasion of Children’s Day and the birth anniversary India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Navodaya Vidyalaya samiti celebrated cultural programs and sports competitions were organized by the students in the school.
