What is the Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme?

For PG/Ph.D courses, the Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme was established.

The Government of Goa’s Department of Higher Education, Art, and Culture is accepting applications for the Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme 2022. Students who are excellent and distinguished are encouraged to apply for the scholar’s initiative, which aims to promote, empower, and financially assist these brilliant students so that they can pursue postgraduate/doctoral studies at reputable institutions in India and abroad.

Every year, the Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholar Scheme will select and recognise 20 excellent students.

Eligibility Criteria for the scheme

The following is the whole eligibility information about the Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme 2022.

1.For a minimum of 15 years, the candidate must have lived in Goa.

2.As on January 1, 2022, the applicant’s age must not exceed 35 years.

3.The applicant must have completed a qualifying degree examination from a Goa-based university.

4.The candidate must have received a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade in the qualifying degree test, as well as a minimum of 70% aggregate score, according to the requirements.

5.During the scholarship term, the candidate must have received confirmation of acceptance.

To apply for the Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme, simply follow the procedures below.

1.Using the link provided here https://www.goa.gov.in/,go to the Directorate of Higher Education’s official website.

2.Fill out the Google Form with all of your information.

3.Within the Google Form, upload the photos as well as the paper.

4.Press the ‘Submit’ button to send the Google Form. After the cutoff time, the Online Form will be closed.

5.After successfully submitting the Google Form, you will receive an email in your registered account with the information you supplied in the Google Form.

6.In the area provided on the physical copy of the email, paste your passport-sized color photograph.
On the physical copy of the email, enter the details in the Declaration Section.

7.By post or courier, send the cover letter, a hard copy of the email, and self-attested photocopies of the essential papers to the Directorate of Higher Education, SCERT Building, Alto-Porvorim, Goa 403 521.

It will not be possible to deliver by hand.
