Language promotion, as it’s name says, is a campaign to let the children meet their contemporaries level. It will actually balance the linguistic issues during a child’s development.
We, being a civilization state, our country has a rich diversity of languages where thousands of languages are spoken everyday. To respect all the languages and it’s speakers and provide the right representation to all the Indians in the constitution is the motto.
It is planned under National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to promote Indian Languages, Multilingual Education, Arts and Culture.
In order to preserve and promote its art and culture, develop high-quality materials in various Indian languages, conserve artefacts, develop highly qualified individuals to curate and run museums and heritage and tourist places are the concerns we do have behind this effort.
