STRIDE
This is an initiative taken by the University Grants Commission very recently.
In short, it is better known as S T R I D E.
Objectives 😄
The main focus of this programme is to support for research capacity building.
It will support research projects that can be very important and relevant socially locally, nationally and globally.
It will work on need based research.
It will develop research culture and innovation in colleges and Universities.
It will not only support applied and informational action research but will be inclusive as far as human development concerns.
It will promote the creation, development, and integration of new ideas, concepts, and practices for the public good and strengthening civil society.
It would focus on India’s developing economy.
