The Procedure for Verification of Result/Genuineness of CBSE X/XII Certificates/Marksheet
For Online verification
Employers/institutions can verify results of students from 2004 onwards by inputting the candidate’s roll number, date of birth, and school code on the following websites:
1. For current year results, visit the following website http://cbseresults.nic.in/
2. For old results (2004-onwards), visit this website http://resultsarchives.nic.in/cbseresults/
For Offline Verification
- Employer/Institution may send a copy of the marksheet and certificate to the applicable Regional Office, together with a verification fee of Rs. 500 per document and a postal charge of Rs. 40, by way of DD/PO payable to “Secretary, CBSE” payable at the Regional Office’s location.
- The Regional Office will send the verification report immediately to the employer/institution.
- In the case of international destinations, postal charges will be applied (in addition) in accordance with the country’s postal/courier charges.
