The CBSE has recommended that schools observe National Youth Day on January 12th.
On January 12, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) asked connected schools to mark “National Youth Day” and the “Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda” in an online or offline way.
"Through online/offline means, all CBSE affiliated schools may commemorate 12 January 2022 as “National Youth Day” and “Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda,” according to the board.
On this occasion, the board has requested schools to have a special assembly, debate, or speeches, as well as cultural programmes honoring Swami Vivekananda.
On January 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open and address the 25th National Youth Festival.
Youth from throughout the country are encouraged to submit recommendations and new ideas for the Prime Minister’s address. According to the Prime Minister’s office, some of the proposals may be included in the Prime Minister’s address.
A National Youth Summit will be held on January 13, 2022, with the goal of bringing India’s varied cultures together and integrating them into a single thread of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ through an immersive and engaging approach, according to the announcement.
