Navodaya Vidyalaya is mainly Run for the Rural / Poor Population of India, who can not afford the higher fees of private schools.
The best 80 students get a chance to enroll themselves in this school, every year. And most of them are facing their first competitive IQ exam of life.
Navodaya Vidyalaya is in every district of India (except Tamilnadu) And they conduct an entrance exam in classes 5th, 8th, 11th (to get admission in 6th, 9th class, 11th Class respectively).
You get highly qualified teachers from different regions of the country.
These schools are directly run by the MHRD Now Ministry of Education and not by any state body.

How can I get admission here?

You can take admission here in the 6th, 9th, and 11th classes.

To get admission in the 6th class, a test is conducted named JNVST(Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test) at many centers.

In the 9th class also JNVST for the 9th class is conducted.

Admissions in the 11th class are merit-based.
