There is 5% reservation of supernumerary seats for widows/wards of Armed Forces Personnel killed/disabled in action or during peacetime. For the admission to university programme, the preference will be given as follow:

  1. Priority I: Widows/Wards of Defence personnel killed in action.
  2. Priority II: Wards of Defence personnel disabled in action and boarded out from service with disability attributable to military service.
  3. Priority III: Widows/Wards of Defence personnel who died while in service with death attributable to military service.
  4. Priority IV: Wards of Defence personnel disabled in service and boarded out with disability attributable to military service.
  5. Priority V: Wards of Ex-Servicemen and serving personnel including personnel of Police Forces/Paramilitary who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards.
  6. Priority VI: Wards of Ex-Servicemen.
  7. Priority VII: (a)Wives of defence personnel disabled in action and boarded out from service, (b) wives of defence personnel disabled in service and boarded out with disability attributable to military service © wives of ex-Servicemen and serving personnel who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards.
    8 Priority VIII: Wards of Serving Personnel.
  8. Priority IX: Wives of Serving Personnel.
