SEED
Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) is a design aptitude exam administered by Symbiosis International University in order to admit students to Symbiosis Institute of Design’s BDes programmes (SID). It should be mentioned that beginning in 2019, admission to Symbiosis School of Planning, Architecture and Design (SSPAD), Nagpur’s BDes programmes will also be done through the SEED test.
SEED Eligibility Requirements
For admittance to SID’s design programmes, candidates must meet the standards outlined by the organisation. If a candidate meets the following SEED eligibility requirements, they will be considered for the programme:
Class 12 or equivalent (from any stream; e.g., science, commerce, arts, etc.)
(Or)
Cleared a State Board of Technical Education-approved 10+3 diploma with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45 percent or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).
Aspirants taking final examinations in the 10+2 or 10+3 diploma programmes exam pattern also match the SEED eligibility criterion if their final exam results are released by June of the admission year.

Fees for applications
On the official website of the design entrance test, aspirants must fill out an application form in order to sit for the SEED exam.
SEED has an application cost of INR 2950 (INR 1950 for SEED and INR 1000 for SID).

Visualization, observational, perceptual, and reasoning abilities, creative and problem-solving abilities, and application of basic science and mathematics knowledge are all included in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) programme.
