What is the CET-NRA (Common Eligibility Test)?
The National Recruitment Agency (NRA) is an agency which will be conducting banking exams in future, as I have read.
To screen/shortlist candidates for Group B and C (non-technical) vacancies, it will conduct a Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Government Jobs.
It will be a specialised organisation that will bring state-of-the-art technology and best practices to the field of Central Government hiring.
How will the CET Exam be used to recruit for the bank?
Only one exam will be held for all categories, such as Bank, SSC, and Railways, in this process. This will function as a single-window screening test, eliminating the need for students to take several exams. Exams will be held only for non-gazetted positions. I think in this way, candidates will be relieved of the stress of many exams. Also as I perceive, candidates will save time, money, and travel expenses as a result of this. I think it’ll be lauched very soon.
