Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation is jointly owned by the Company of Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It has been reconstituted as per the approval of the Government by naming it as “Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (UPMRCL)” for implementation of different new Metro Rail projects in some of the important cities in the State of Uttar Pradesh and has been given the responsibility of implementation and operation of the metro in new cities where Metro projects have been recently getting approval by Government of India. The Applications for direct recruitment by online registration process are invited from young, dynamic, and motivated candidates of Indian nationality for direct recruitment online in the following categories of posts in UPMRCL

Candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of passport size color photo, signature scan and copy size of these scanned copies should be within 80 kb and in jpg files only.

Assistant Manager/ (Electrical) | B.E/B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with a minimum percentage of 60% for applying for candidates for Unreserved, EWS & OBC vacancies and with a minimum percentage of 50% for candidates applying for reserved vacancies of SC/ST only. |
Assistant Manager/ (S&T) | B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/Electronics & Communication or Equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks for candidates applying for Unreserved & OBC vacancies and with a minimum of 50% marks for candidates applying for reserved vacancies of SC/ST. |

Selection process
i) The post of Assistant Manager(Civil), Assistant Manager(Electrical), Assistant Manager(S&T), the selection process will consist of the two-stage process –
Written Test, Document verification & Medical examination in Executive( Technical) category.
ii)The post of Assistant Manager/Accounts, Assistant Manager/HR, Assistant Manager(Public Relations), the selection process consists of
Written Test followed by Document verification & Medical examination in Executive(Non-Technical) category.
Written Test:
Objective type Computer Based Test (CBT) for all the posts Question paper will be bilingual in English and Hindi. It will consist of multiple-choice objective-type questions and testing knowledge of the English language, General Awareness & Computer Applications, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and knowledge of the discipline.
(i) There will be a total of 140 questions for categories. Each question carries equal marks.
(ii)There will be negative marking for every wrong answer ⅓ marks will be deducted.
(iii) The duration of the Paper shall be of 2 hours.
