CEED
The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) to grant admission to candidates in Master of Design (MDes) and PhD programmes provided in colleges that recognise CEED scores. More than 5,000 students take the CEED test each year.
Eligibility Criteria
According to IIT Bombay’s CEED eligibility standards as follow-
Applicants must finish a three-year degree/diploma/postgraduate degree programme after completing 10+2 level schooling, or candidates must pass the final examination of such a programme .
Aside from these requirements, applicants may take the CEED test if they have completed a GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) .
Application Process
Visit the exam’s official website: http://www.ceed.iitb.ac.in/
Select the Register option.
To activate your account, go to the activation URL that was issued to your email address.
Fill out the CEED registration form completely.
Choose the name of your qualifying test and the year in which you passed it.
Fill out the CEED application form after logging into your account.
Upload all of the required documentation.
Pay the CEED application cost online.
Take out the final printout.
Paper Pattern
The CEED exam has two parts – A and B.
CEED exam pattern is such that part A of the exam consists of objective type questions (to be attempted in online mode) whereas part B of the exam contains subjective questions (to be attempted in offline mode).
CEED Part B exam has questions which test design, drawing and writing skills of candidates.
Part A of the CEED exam is a screening test. Thus, only those candidates who clear Part A are evaluated for Part B of the exam.
